4DX Cinema hits Philippines for the first time

The most awaited cinema at Bonifacio High Street Central just opened today (April 30, 2014). This have been a rumors for quite several years and now is the time to kick it off on public with its first screening movie The Amazing Spiderman 2.

Obviously this is not a regular cinema experienced offered in several theaters, it’s a 4DX Cinema, the future of cinematic experience. If the 3D cinema only boost audio and visual effects, a 4DX cinema deliver you to the next level cinematic experience which augmented variety of environmental effects such as motion, scents, ,mist and wind together with the standard audio and video.

The enthusiasm curiosity of me about this 4DX can really do to you inside the cinema is undeniable. From their poster ads seen everywhere in BGC, obviously give you the idea what its look like inside. I already checked the price last night at sureseats.com and this only cost you 450php, not much expensive though from what its offering. The cinema is located at the right corner of Central Square, BGC if you're entrance from Serendra. I assumed we can get ticket at the cinema’s front desk itself on its very first opening day and this turned me a feeling of frustration.

I asked the lady guard standing next to the cinema where the 4DX being shown and she said, there were VIPs accommodated the 3 screening time that’s why the 2 left time were sold out early.

Before entering 4DX Cinema, here are list of reminders you should know first for safety and relax experience. Upon buying your ticket at their front desk, here you can see the 4DX safety notice, just in case you miss it I will list it down few most important.

Hot beverages are strictly NOT allowed for your safety. Only drinks with lids or covers will be allowed inside. Please be careful not to spill your beverages as it may cause breakdown of motion chairs.
As the 4DX chair moves, please be careful about your bags and belongings, especially fragile ones.
For your children safety, baby booster seats and sharing seats are not allowed,
Please watch your footrest and avoid moving or walking around the movie.
Please return the footrest in its folded position before leaving your seat
Children are required to use the height indicator located beside the ticket booth in the cinema lobby.
The following audience members are not allowed inside the 4DX theater.

*Children below 3 & 1/2 (1m) tall are not allowed

*Pregnant women, disabled seniors, those with heart, back, or neck problems; and those with motion sickness, epilepsy, or other sensitive conditions are not allowed inside the 4DX theater
